I like your detailed look at FRAMING BLACKNESS and while you do pick up on some minor points that our problematic in the text, I wonder about your larger take on the argument. In other words, is he right in how he assesses the role of African Americans in film? Is there a problem with the roles they are given and the amount of appearances they have made in the films?
